The Forty-Eighth Night (2)
While Feng Jing was fighting a battle of wits with the security guards, the operating room’s lights finally went out. As soon as the door was opened, the people waiting outside quickly came over.
“Dr. Ji1 Protagonist of Amnesic Queen<– click link to know more , how is it?” Mrs. Feng immediately came up and asked the attending surgeon.
Dr. Ji took off the white mask on his face and replied to them, “The operation was very smooth. Although the patient’s condition is temporarily stable, he still needs further observation.”
As he was speaking, Feng Jing was wheeled out. Jiang Ran quickly walked to the gurney. Seeing Feng Jing lying there with a pale face, her heart trembled and she could help but call out, “Feng Jing?”
There wasn’t any reaction from the man. Mrs. Feng frowned slightly and asked Dr. Ji, “When will he wake up?”
“I’m not sure yet. It depends on the patient’s recovery.”
Feng Jing was quickly pushed away, and the doctors did not allow them to enter the ward. Only Mrs. Feng was allowed, as the representative. She stayed in the ward for ten minutes and then came out.
Qin Fan made a phone call in the corridor, he asked the company to carry out the public relations operations quickly, announcing that Feng Jing’s operation was very smooth, but he still needed to stay in the hospital for further observation. Jiang Ran sat on the chair outside the ward, with no signs of leaving. Although the doctor did not allow her to visit, she was too worried to return.
The auntie who was in charge of the kitchen of the Feng family brought some food for them. On the way, she told Jiang Ran about the situation downstairs,
“More than half the reporters downstairs have left. The fans are only a few. But when I came in there was a country mutt standing by the emergency passage. It looked like it wanted to rush in.”
Hearing that there was a country mutt, Jiang Ran paused slightly. Could it be her Er Huang?
“That country mutt didn’t look big, but its moves were quite agile. The security guards almost couldn’t hold it down.”
Jiang Ran frowned, then opened her phone to show a picture. “Auntie, was it this dog?”
The picture Jiang Ran showed was of Feng Jing kissing Er Huang. But, the auntie was first attracted to the human instead of the canine. At first, she was still a little unaccustomed to the sudden appearance of this girlfriend of Feng Jing’s, but looking at this photo, she thought that the relationship between them should be very good.
Mrs. Feng also took a look at her mobile phone and lifted the corners of her mouth subconsciously.
“Is this your dog? It does look a little similar, but how did it come to the hospital?”
Jiang Ran also felt that it could not be Er Huang, however, in the end, she still decided to go down and took a look.
“Feng Ping, go down with her,” Mrs. Feng said.
“Ok.” Feng Ping nodded and walked next to Jiang Ran. “Let’s go, Miss Jiang.”
“Okay,” said Jiang Ran.
Feng Ping’s aura was too cold, Jiang Ran dare not be too close to him. Fortunately, he was a man of few words, and they went downstairs in silence.
“Woof!”
As soon as she appeared, Feng Jing noticed her for the first time. Jiang Ran was stunned, but seeing that the Security Guards were about to draw out their batons, Jiang Ran immediately rushed up and hugged Er Huang.
“Er Huang, why are you here?”
“Woof!” As he was hugged, Feng Jing’s heavy heart finally seemed to weigh a little less.
“Sorry, this is my dog.” Jiang Ran hugged Er Huang, afraid that the security guards would hit it with their batons.
The security guards knew that she was associated with the Feng family and did not make it difficult for her. “The hospital doesn’t allow dogs inside.”
“I know, I know, I’m sorry to have caused you trouble.” Jiang Ran petted Er Huang’s body, afraid that it was scared. Feng Jing also rubbed back and whined a few times.
“Miss Jiang, you go home first, I’ll ask Uncle Zhou to drive you back,” said Feng Ping.
Upon hearing his voice, Feng Jing only then noticed that Feng Ping was also here. Seeing that Feng Ping looked towards him, he subconsciously slipped deeper into Jiang Ran’s embrace.
“Then what about Feng Jing?” Jiang Ran didn’t want to leave.
“Feng Jing’s attending surgeon, Dr. Ji is very famous. He has performed many difficult operations. Since he has said that the operation went well, Feng Jing should not be in danger. We can’t visit him right now. It’s no use for you to stay here. So you better take your dog back home first and come back tomorrow,” Feng Ping said.
President Feng Ping was used to giving orders. At the moment, the words he spoke to Jiang Ran were also spoken in a commanding tone out of habit, which made Feng Jing look at him discontentedly.
When he looked at Feng Ping, Feng Ping’s eyes fell back on him again.
Feng Jing: “——”
Actually, he was a little afraid of this cousin of his.
Jiang Ran thought for a moment and nodded. “All right, I’ll be back tomorrow morning.”
“Well, I’ll ask Uncle Zhou to come down.”
Jiang Ran held Er Huang in her arms and got into Uncle Zhou’s car. She still didn’t understand how this guy got to the hospital. “Er Huang, how did you slip out of the house?”
“Woof, woof.” Feng Jing wagged his tail and pretended to be obedient.
Jiang Ran frowned. “Even if you ran out of the house, how would you know that you can find me at Central Hospital?” She remembered that she had never brought him here. When she would get sick, she usually went to the small clinic near her house.
Uncle Zhou, who was driving in the front seat, laughed and said, “Your dog is too clever. I think it has become a spirit.”
Jiang Ran ruffled Feng Jing’s fur and proceeded to lecture him, “Er Huang, do you know how dangerous it is to run on the road? Aren’t you afraid of being kidnapped by bad people?”
“Woof, woof,” Feng Jing wagged his tail again. Yes, fortunately, he was not living in the world of Disney, otherwise, this experience that he traveled from home to the hospital could be made into a movie.
