Summary
Tuoba Yan was the female general who guarded the Northwest of Ancient China. Dreading the power she wielded, the fatuous Emperor summoned her to the capital to enter the palace as the Empress. She had spent the majority of her life on the battlefield, protecting her home and the country. But what did she get in return? Death. She had quickly and fatally succumbed to the underhanded methods of harem intrigues. Stripped of her status as the Mother of the Nation and banished from the palace, her life was cut short with her blood splattered on the gilded Buddha.
To what she thought was her bidding adieu to the world, actually became the start of a fresh new life. General Tuoba’s soul occupied the body of the girl with the same name as her, who commited suicide as well. In order to complete Tuoba Yan’s last wish, General Tuoba chose to step into the entertainment circle as a martial arts stuntman and fight all the way up, swearing to never falter!
